Can anyone suggest a good on-line school for a 6th grader whom I will be traveling with for the next year. Most time will be stationary and we will have access to a computer about 90% of the time. Also, I wish for it not to be affiliated with any one religion.
Thanks,
Hannah

Re: On-line Home Schooling?
Mon, January 3, 2005 - 3:18 PMYou probably found something by now but I found Calvert School has some kind of online program. I don't think it's a full school program but you can look into it. It is also secular to satisfy your not wanting it to be with any one religion.

You have to live in Canada to register with that online school. With Calvert School you could live anywhere in the US. I'm not sure about living in Canada; you probably could.
I copied & pasted this FAQ from that website:

Must we live in BC?
The SDLC program is funded by the Ministry of Education through its Independent Schools Branch. BC legal residency is required. At least one parent must be a citizen of Canada or a landed immigrant of Canada and a form stating this will be provided for your signature.
