I was home schooled through Christian Liberty Acedemy of Satellite Schools (CLASS). It is accredited, and only very moderately religious. Unless you have a severe issue with non-denominational christian teachings, then this is a great program. Yes, you have to take one course in relligious text, but it not from the bible, and it was relatively cheesy for me. I am not a christian, but I suffered through the two hours it took me to complete the entire semester's work on the religious course. Not only follow a good accredited curriculum, but SUPLEMENT! Take the kids to the museums, library, festivals, historical landmarks etc... my mother took as everywhere she could afford. Being homeschooled allowed us to travel as well, so we slept in National Parks and travelled all over Texas, following her jobs. She instilled in me a great love for nature and education through this technique.
