How is the first month. My son is five and we have just started to offically homeschool. It seems like it took many weeks for us to find a rhythum and figure out our activities and schedual. Is this what other people experience? A lot of the programs we are involved with that include other homeschoolers took some time to get organized and fill up so we could begin. It felt strange that while all the other kids were back in school we were still trying to make a start. Is this a trait of the first year or is it common throughout the homeschool experience at the beginning of each year. Any advice on how to make the transition smoother, be better prepared? And when exactly does the housework get done and by whom?
